There are a lot of options for residential roofing. The different types of residential roofs vary in cost; however, the level of craftsmanship, customer service, and the overall quality of the roof must always be the highest priorities. Quality roofing will provide your home with the safety and security that it needs.

A roof performs many vital roles for a home. It keeps the interior of your home dry, protects you from weather elements, and helps keep it efficient in energy use. It is also an aesthetic capstone. To be effective it must be attractive and practical. Based on the weather, a house roof will last between 20 to 50 years.

Asphalt shingles are the most popular type for homes in Wheaton Illinois. They are available in a variety of different colors and installation styles. Certain shingles feature a flat pattern, while others are three-dimensional that offer more protection against the elements.

Commercial Roofing Wheaton

When you’re looking at commercial roofing, make certain to work with us because we only employ top-quality materials, and we guarantee the work we do. We will help you avoid spending time and money on an inferior product.

A great option for commercial roofing is metal. It is among the oldest types of roofing, and it can be installed over your existing roof. You can add a special coating to make it water-proof and resistant to rust. The roofing systems are made from steel, aluminum, or tin, and last about 40 years or more. They’re fireproof and weatherproof, so you’ll be sure that your building will be safe for a long time to come.

Since many commercial buildings have low-sloped and flat roofs, single ply or membrane roofing (PVC, rubber, TPO, EPDM, etc.), as well as spray foam roofs, are also excellent options.

Roof Installation Wheaton

An effective roof installation can boost the curb appeal of your home and give it a fresh look. If done properly, a new roof can increase the worth of the home and require little to no maintenance.

Your home’s roof is its first line of defense against the elements, and winters in Wheaton IL can be tough on roofs. If you’d prefer to avoid having to repair the roof or even replace it in the near future think about us. Our top-quality products, perfect workmanship, and transparent communication make us an ideal choice for roofing installations.

A very important component that makes up your roof is underlayment. The layer shields the roof against water intrusion and allows your home to breathe properly. Using the right underlayment can ensure that your roof is waterproof.

It is important to examine your ventilation and underlayment prior to installing a new roof. They are vital to the health of your home and can be replaced if necessary. If you’ve experienced issues with ice dams in the past, they can be mitigated by replacing them with new ventilation and underlayment.

Roof Replacement Wheaton

It takes many years for a new roof to begin showing signs of wearing. When the time comes that your roof is beyond repair, a roof replacement could be required. It’s less expensive than ongoing maintenance and repairs ultimately.

Roofing materials include shingles, tiles, flat roofs, and so on. For instance, flat roofing made of asphalt can expand and contract depending on the weather conditions, and can eventually be pulled away from the edge of the roof. This can lead to the roof leaking and a buildup of moisture within the roof. A roof replacement can be necessary if it has developed cracks or holes.

The cost of a roof replacement is contingent on a variety of factors such as its size as well as the roofing material used, your property’s location, and more. The materials are often the costliest component of the new roof. There are a variety of materials to choose from, however, the most popular ones are made from asphalt shingles. They are followed by metal, wood, composite, and tiles.

It is crucial to plan a roof inspection every few months. Not only does this inspection identify problems with your roof but it can also prevent serious damage from occurring. If you don’t conduct this inspection, your roof may not be protected from the elements and could be dangerous if it starts to leak.

Furthermore, a poorly maintained roofing system could be a breeding ground for mold and mildew which can lead to health issues. When you’re planning to renovate or make repairs to your house it is essential to have it checked to make sure it’s in good condition.

A roof inspection should be performed by professionals like us at least once every three years. As the age of the roofing structure increases, an inspection should also be more frequent, like once per year. Many kinds of damage could be caused by the weather and time. The climate of Wheaton Illinois is extremely harsh and may make your roof more susceptible to decay and damage.

Roofing Types & Materials We Use

We only employ high-quality roofing materials. Therefore, you can be sure that our work will last a long time.

Metal Roofing Wheaton

wheaton metal roofing

There is a variety of metal roofing. They include but aren’t only limited to aluminum, copper, steel, standing seams, corrugated steel, galvalume, galvanized, etc.

While this type of roofing isn’t the most sought-after material used in commercial or residential structures, it’s a good option due to a number of factors. The advantages of metal roofing are numerous, and the price is worth the cost when you consider how much you could save in the long term.

One of the main benefits of roofing made of metal is that it is low maintenance. You just need to check for debris twice a year and get rid of any that has accumulated over the roofing. It is a highly durable material and is easily repaired. It also helps lower your cost of cooling and heating. In addition, you can select from many different colors and different textures.

It’s important to know that metal roofs can be noisy. If you’re looking for a quiet roof, you should choose an option with a feature that reduces noise. Certain kinds of these roofs offer Acoustic insulation which is a major benefit for metal roofing.

Metal roofing can last for decades without needing replacement. This feature is what makes it so appealing to many homeowners. The long-life expectancy of roofing made of metal is their biggest benefit.

Flat Roofing Wheaton

commercial flat roof repair

Among the benefits of flat roofing is it’s very sturdy, which makes it a great choice for commercial structures. But because of flat roofs’ nature, they are also more vulnerable to damage and issues. To avoid problems like this, make sure you engage experienced experts such as us who know how to handle flat roofs.

This type of roof can be damaged by hail, which may vary in size and shape. It can sometimes be smaller than pellets, while at other times, it could be as large as the size of a grapefruit or a bowling ball. Whatever the size, the primary problem that flat roofing faces is the accumulation of water on the roofing’s top. The result is that the roof sinks and weakens the structure beneath.

In some instances, flat roofs might need to be replaced. It can be a difficult procedure because it involves cutting off an old roof and replacing it with a new one. Several materials can be used on low-sloped and flat roofs. These include single-ply, membrane roofing (PVC TPO, rubber, EPDM, etc.) or spray foam roofs made of polyurethane.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing Wheaton

Choosing asphalt shingle roofing is an ideal option for many homeowners. It is affordable and versatile. The shingles come in different colors and styles, and you can pick the best one for your house.

Its first advantage is affordability. Many people aren’t able to replace their roofs for several years, so this type of material could save them cash in the long term. It will also last for years when properly maintained and taken care of. The aesthetic appeal of the material makes it a popular choice and it’s easy to match it to any style or architectural scheme.

We provide high-quality asphalt shingle roofing and can also work on architectural shingling as well as three-tab shingles. We also work with different types of paints, stains, and coatings.

Slate Roofing Wheaton

slate roof replacement

The procedure of installing a slate roof is more complicated than installing the asphalt roofing. It requires specific skills and equipment. Inexperienced contractors can cause more damage. So, it’s imperative to only select experienced contractors like us for this type of roofing.

The advantages of slate roofing are many. Apart from its stunning appearance, it’s also a durable roofing material. A properly installed roof can last for up to a century with proper maintenance. It also depends on the kind of stone employed.

There is no other material that can match this kind of durability. When properly installed a slate roof will improve the value of a home. It is also fire and water-resistant. The best part is that you can alter the style of your roof to fit the architecture of your house.

Tile Roofing Wheaton

If you plan to use tile roofing, you should make sure that the roof has the correct slope. The reason is that tiles are heavy and need an appropriate underlying structure. The ideal slopes for tile roofs range from four to 10 degrees. The most popular underlayments are asphalt-saturated organic felts with no perforation.

One of the advantages of roofing made from tile is its beauty. This material is extremely durable and has an almost unlimited number of design possibilities. If you’re looking for roofing that is both beautiful and functional, tile is the best option.

Along with its durability, it can also withstand a wide range of weather conditions. Whether your home lies in the middle of winter cool or a hot summer, a roof that is tiled will look amazing.

Composite Roofing Wheaton

composite roof replacement

Composite roofing may cost more than traditional shingles; however, they are still aesthetically pleasing. They can mimic the look of slate roofing or clay roofing and are more durable than the wood itself. These roofs won’t warp or peel, nor blister, and are additionally more appealing.

They also require less maintenance than other types of roofing. In fact, some kinds of composite materials are able to last for a long time without any maintenance. Additionally, these roofing materials come in a wide range of colors, textures, and styles, meaning you can easily match them to your current architectural style. They are also a great option to give your home a green-friendly feel.

Because most of them are made of recycled plastic, they’re resistant to fire and impacts. However, the downside is that it’s not wind-proof and requires additional reinforcements to be able to handle heavy snow.

Cedar Shake Roofing Wheaton

cedar shake roof replacement

A cedar shake roof will last for years. This type of roofing material is a great choice for many reasons. Among the most important benefits of the wood shake roof is its unique appearance as well as its natural appeal. While these roofs are strong but they won’t last for long. Proper maintenance is necessary to keep them looking beautiful.

A cedar shake roof is an elegant and regal option for any home. Not only does it offer a high level of protection, but it also has an attractive appearance, making it ideal for homes and buildings that have unique designs.

Cedar shake roofs are very sturdy. However, they can’t withstand extreme damage or loss of shakes. That’s why regular maintenance is crucial. Once a cedar shake roof is installed, you’ll have to apply new coatings or treatment every few years or more in order to preserve it from damage. Also, you should check the roof periodically for leaks and ensure that there’s nothing underneath. It could be necessary to replace the whole roof with a new one if the shakes have become damaged or are missing.

A cedar shake roofing is constructed of a thicker piece of wood than the shingle made of cedar. This means that it can offer greater variety in terms of design. Additionally, it is more resistant to heat, UV light, and shade. It’s an extremely durable option for roofing. Its distinctive cut and natural appearance will give your home a unique and personal look.

Gutters Wheaton

We don’t just provide roofing services. We also offer guttering services which include gutter installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance for commercial and residential properties. We also work with various kinds of guttering materials such as copper, galvanized, and seamless gutters.

Don’t overlook the importance of gutters for your building or home. They are an important component of the roof’s protection. They shield your home from moisture and also prevent pests from entering your attic.

Whether you live in an older or newer one, gutters need to be cleaned regularly to ensure that your home is free of dirt. Clogged gutters aren’t an attractive addition to your home and do little to help divert water away towards your home’s foundation. If water continues to flow across the edges of your gutters, it can damage the foundation of your house.

Skylights Wheaton

residential skylight repair

A skylight is a great choice for many reasons. It will add natural sunlight to your home, and help protect it from elements, as well as increase the worth of the home. There are many other advantages to choosing skylights, including aesthetic and structural factors to security issues.

If you’re looking for a skylight that’s visually pleasing, consider a raised design. A skylight that is raised keeps leaves and water out, and also provides more natural lighting to your home. About Wheaton IL

A distinctive community of more than 53,000 residents located west of Chicago, Wheaton, Illinois, is a destination worth visiting. Wheaton, Illinois, was founded between 1837 and 1838 and serves as the county seat of DuPage County. Wheaton’s residents and visitors alike are drawn to the town’s unique blend of big-city amenities and small-town charm, which makes it a desirable destination to live, work, shop, and play. Because of its well-regarded schools and gorgeous downtown, as well as its historic neighborhoods and thriving community, Wheaton is an inviting area to live and work.

It was during the period between 1831 and 1837, following the Indian Removal Act, that Erastus Gary claimed 790 acres of property near present-day Warrenville, which was later developed into the city of Warrenville. They were joined by their brother Warren L. Wheaton, who claimed 640 acres of land in the middle of town in 1837. The Wheaton brothers came from Connecticut. Jesse Wheaton then claimed 300 acres of land to the west of Warren’s, which he later sold. It wasn’t long before more New England settlers came to join them in their new home in the town. In 1848, they granted the Galena and Chicago Union Railroad three miles of right-of-way, resulting in the railroad naming the depot Wheaton after the town of Wheaton, Illinois. Following that, the settlement was officially recognized as a village in February 1859, with Warren serving as the village’s first President. Following its incorporation as a city in April 1890, Judge Elbert Gary, the son of Erastus Gary and founder of Gary, Indiana, was appointed as the city’s first mayor, becoming the city’s second-in-command.
