The Marion E. Wade Center was designed with the general public in mind as well that Wheaton College community members can visit any time of year without paying an admission fee.

The Kilby Reading Room is a quiet space available for use by anyone interested in using the Wade Center’s collections. It has been named after Clyde and Martha Kilby, who have supported this institution since its founding more than 50 years ago with their generous donations of funds.
