Bloomingdale Golf Club

The Village of Bloomingdale has a long history with golf, dating back to when they founded the Glendale Golf Course in 1924. This public course was designed by renowned architect Tom Bendelow who also created Medinah Country Club just down Chicago Street from here on our border.

The village of Bloomingdale purchased the 72-year-old Glendale Golf Course in 1996 with a commitment to create an outstanding course that would set it apart from other courses. They hired a renowned architect who employed his classic layouts, which are well known for challenging play and beautiful landscape designs. The village of Bloomingdale hired Lohmann Golf Design to design the course, which is a challenge for all levels. The greens are smooth and spacious enough so you can enjoy your round without feeling crowded or overwhelmed by nature’s beauty around every corner.

The widely-played Bloomingdale Golf Club was redesigned in the late 90s to create a challenging yet not too demanding course, all of which is framed by mature trees and lined with first-class facilities. This track often produces pars for players who hit long shots into green-backed tracks that favor accuracy over speed. The new Bloomingdale golf club has some really cool features like their testing greens (they make sure you don’t accidentally walk off) and straight fairways bordered beautifully maintained grassy areas where we can enjoy nature while playing our favorite game.

The club’s handsome stone, brick, and cedar clubhouse stand over the golf course with a bar and grill inside. It also offers well-stocked amenities for members and private events that can be held in their spacious banquet room or outside on their beautiful patio area.

Situated at 181 Glen Ellyn Rd. Bloomingdale, IL area, the Bloomingdale Golf Club’s banquet hall is the perfect place for your wedding or other special events. Whether you’re looking to have a casual BBQ dinner or an elegant formal affair with up to 220 guests in attendance, their facility has everything that will meet all of these needs. It overlooks beautifully landscaped grounds from its scenic location overlooking the #1 hole on this famous golf course–a must-see when driving by if not already aware before coming here.

There are plenty of options in the Bloomingdale Golf Club to choose from when it comes time for your next meeting or event. Their banquet room can easily convert into three private rooms, so no matter the size you need, their space has an option that will work best with yours.
